A ready-made photographic work is like a modern still life.

Tt’s a work about manufactured objects looked on an aestheticized point of view which questions the viewer above all :
Is it advertising and or photograph of art ?
These pictures of a very high resolution 150 to 500 pixels interrogate the viewer.

Genesis

This work which started more 10 years earlier began through a photographic exploration of my everyday student life. Enclosed in a relatively small space to study my medical studies, my photographic field was reduced as much. These photos were on various topics, food, clothing, men and women, medicine, surgery, kitchen. Some series mixed types in an iconoclastic manner food and surgery, other mixed objects and for some photos, we can see the gesture showing the object.

But, beyond aesthetical new approach, there is also a process of questioning the way we look at these everyday objects.

    Why is it disturbing ? did we notice the beauty of these daily life objects ?

Artistic background

Marcel Duchamp’s ready-made has led us to contemplate the subject on an artistic point of view rather than on a functional point of view.

The technique plus the special depth of field bring blurred areas and at the same time enhance areas of clearness. With this technique, we can associate long-life objects   cans

with other perishables things in a short term, tomatoes,  to extend the scope of historical
