Venezuela between “vota Si” and “vota NO”. Travel in the in the heart of Venezuela get hot by the popular referendum of Hugo Chavez in 2004.

August 2004, Venezuela is heated by the socialist referendum questioning the people “Hugo Chavez have to leave? ». The French site of the Foreign Affairs disadvises the departure for Venezuela, but the tickets are already taken and then we go in the Andes Venezuelans which are famous for their calms. On our arrival, we discover a country exceptionally mobilized in the two camps between “ vota Si” and “vota NO”. Even the mountains take party, they are covered with “Vota SI” or of “Vota No”. After 24 hours of bus, we are in the town of Mérida, we will discover there, here or in the villages lost in the mountain, people obliging, courageous, and festive. No quarrels during political debates, just of the discussions animated and of chews tobacco to be chewed.
